Mechanical Properties of 6061 Aluminum Alloy under Cyclic Tensile Loading

During the service process of an aluminum alloy structure, its complex deformation zone experiences repeated loading problems such as tension, compression, bending and reverse bending. At same time, cyclic heat treatment also have a certain impact on mechanical properties extruded tubes. Therefore, study parameters has important engineering practical value for extrusion tubes under conditions. The experiment takes 6061-T6 research objects. In study, tensile tests were carried out 26 specimens to effects different (such heating temperature, holding cooling method) stress–strain hysteresis curves, stress characteristics, hysteretic energy, skeleton curves failure characteristics system. addition, 20 samples without secondary discuss regimes alloy. results indicate that effect temperature performance is greater than method not obvious. A regime significant strength, elongation energy behavior during depends applied level history. As number cycles increases, shape curve tends be stable, but there no monotonic relationship between loaded energy.
